Dear St Peter’s,
I am very pleased to introduce myself to you as the new Rector of St Peter’s Anglican Church in Westmount/Inglewood.
Bishop Jane Alexander of the Anglican Diocese Edmonton has appointed me to this position as of May 1st, 2020. I am excited to be entering into this new chapter with St Peters. These are strange times to be starting a new position but even with rising anxiety around this global pandemic and the difficulties of social distancing, I am thrilled to be coming alongside you in ministry.
For this Sunday, May 3rd, I will be emailing out – and posting to Facebook – a link to a service of morning prayer. It is my hope that we will join together in worship at 10:30am.
I am looking forward to workshopping ways to come together and be the Church in these difficult times. So if you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.
